Tucker was born from a love of tasty food, great drinks, and good people.
With nearly 20 years in the industry—working in and running cafes, bars, and restaurants—Tucker was always going to be a bit of a passion project. After a decade in London, we moved to Bali in 2022 with a clear mission: to bring consistently amazing sandwiches and standout brunch to Canggu, alongside awesome cocktails.
We found plenty of great venues in Bali but struggled to find a place that nailed both top-notch sangas and a well-crafted drinks menu. So, we decided to create it ourselves. At Tucker, we combine Australian café culture with quality local ingredients, inspired by the flavors of home and our travels.
But a restaurant is nothing without its people. We started with a small but mighty team—one chef, a barista, and a waiter—and have grown into a crew of seven. Our team, made up of hospitality legends from across Indonesia, brings the warmth, skill, and energy that make Tucker what it is today.
